Ulver是挪威话里“狼”的意思。

该乐队是挪威极端金属领域一支最有趣的乐队。他们既使用吵闹的死亡金属元素，也使用更轻松、阴郁的acoustic乐器，视作品的概念而定。Ulver曾经是一支单纯的黑金属乐队，但现在他们在trip-hop、电子及环境实验主义的领域探索，自得其乐，却唯独与金属无关。

Brief introduction

Ulver is the Norwegian word for wolves.

This band is one of the most interesting bands to rise out of the extreme metal scene in Norway. They employ both noisy death-metal blasting and more relaxed, morose acoustic instrumentation, depending on the concept of their work. Once upon a time, Ulver was a simple black metal band. But now they delve into all sorts of trip-hop, electronica, and ambient experimentalism, much of which is interesting in itself, but simply no longer relevant to a metal forum.
