Brief introduction Burzum is the one-man project of Varg Vikernes (another name is Count Grishnackh). It features arguably the most infamous figure in Norwegian black metal. Varg Vikernes was implicated in a number of church burnings along with other members of the Norwegian Black Metal scene. He is currently serving a 21 year sentence for murdering the former leader/guitarist of Norwegian Black Metal leaders Mayhemmurder. |
