Brief introduction

A high-profile player on New York's no wave scene of the late 1970s, Lydia Lunch has made her mark in literature, film, spoken-word performance, video, photography, poetry as well as a multitude of other creative endeavors. Music, however, has always been her first love.  She had played important parts in some groundbreaking bands including Teenage Jesus,  Eight Eyed Spy, Beirut Slump, The Devil Dogs and 13.13 that set the tone and establish the standards for NYC's aesthetic agenda.
