Brief introduction

:Zoviet*France: is an idiosyncratic collective of anonymous postindustrialists, dronologists, and pseudo-ethnomusicologists. They often flirt with ambient and industrial textures in a low-budget atmosphere, and are often laden with effects. :Zoviet*France: have developed a radical relationship with the cheap technologies of old-fashioned tape recorders, homemade acoustic instruments, primitive looping and sampling devices, and basic dub trickery. They transform improbable sounds that come from lo-fi technology and everyday noise by employing multiple looping situations that slowly dissolve into ecstatic droning mantras.
