1999年，在经历了近一年时间的对演奏、采样、编程以及曲调的调整以后，Xploding Plastix决定将他们的音乐公之于众。他们首支单曲“Treat Me Mean, I Need the Reputation”很快成为像Coldcut和LTJ Bukem这些DJ的最爱。

Xploding Plastix的创作中总是使用很多采样和剪切，他们具有霓虹般熠熠生辉的有机声音。Xploding Plastix更强调了流动的温暖感觉，还有节奏本身的有机性，他们尽情享受着那些灿烂华丽或者坎坎坷坷甚至极其危险的东西。

Brief introduction

In 1999, after about a year of playing, sampling, programming and focused tune writing, Xploding Plastix decided it was time to let the public hear what they'd been up to. Their first single, "Treat Me Mean, I Need the Reputation," soon became a favorite of DJs like Coldcut and LTJ Bukem.

Xploding Plastix compose their music from a plethora of samples and cut ups. They have a very organic sound like irradiated neon washes. Emphasizing the flowing warmth and organity of the rhythms, Xploding Plastix is the epicure of a gorgeous, jagged, murderous pulse.
