Brief introduction

Throbbing Gristle has been one of the pioneers and most important Industrial groups in the world. The band pushed the boundaries with performance art and many appearances were considered quite shocking. They used synthesizers, guitars, bass guitar, tape cut ups, cornet, and presented a very varied, but mostly noisy, soundpicture. Provocation and the unexpected was their trademark, and the result was quite enormous. The band themselves titled their highly experimental form of sound 'Music From The Death Factory'.
