Bernd Jestram和Ronald Lippok在音乐的合作始于多年前的一支朋克乐队，当时他们还处在东德秘密警察警惕的注视之下。

Brief introduction

Bernd Jestram and Ronald Lippok started making music together many years ago in a punk band under the wary eye of the East German secret police.

They have recorded several albums of distinctive, mostly instrumental music tagged post-rock because of Lippok's involvement in To Rococo Rot — a German experimental trio. Tarwater is today the best example of a balanced mixture between pop and electronics, between "songs" and experimentation.
