Brief introduction

Born in a military family, Mike Doughty lived on the grounds of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is best known as the frontman of the avant-garde band Soul Coughing which formed in 1992. In 1998, he emerges as a solo artist with his distinctive voice and stream-of-consciousness poetics.
