Brief introduction

Hector Zazou was born of a French father and Spanish mother in pre-independence Algeria. As a innovative and unpredictable French composer, Hector Zazou sets his foot in various music fields include rock music, French impressionist music and traditional African music. Zazou has been pioneering alternate modes of music composition since the 1970s. He made influential recordings that mapped the Ambient terrain long before acts like Aphex Twin.
