Brief introduction Mike Patton has kept himself busy following the breakup of his previous band Faith No More and one of his main projects is Fantômas. The name of the band comes from a series of french thriller books from before the first World War — Fantômas was the criminal. The band Fantômas was formed by Mike Patton in the wake of the breakup of Faith No More. He recruited Melvins guitarist Buzz Osbourne, Mr. Bungle bassist Trevor Dunn, and Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo to reform a new supergroup. Patton is also the co-owner of Ipecac Records. |
