Brief introduction

This UK's most celebrated experimental combo is a bit of an institution in the worldwide community of electronic music. Their sound is very electronic but never harsh, and showing influences from Kraftwerk and early electro. Despite coming out with ever more experimental formats and tortured soundscapes, they drew and grew an irreductible cult-following among dance music fans and indie-rock zealots alike. Newcomers may find it random or chaotic, but repeated listens reveal it to be highly structured.

They also record as part of the mysterious Gescom, and have remixed material for artists such as Skinny Puppy, Tortoise, Stereolab, DJ Food, and Scorn.
