Brief introduction Founded in 1998 as a family project by brothers Leto, 30 Seconds to Mars initially caught people's attention due to Jared's career as an actor. The band's name comes from the title of a thesis about the exponential growth of technology that was written by a former Harvard professor. Their music is a mixture in between alternative and popular music. |
