Brief introduction

Impaled Nazarene is practically an institution in their native Finland, formed originally consisting of brothers Mika and Kimmo Luttinen  along with Mika Pääkkö, Ari Holappa, and Harri Halonen, reigning as one of that country's elder statesmen of black metal. It is at heart a speedy, punky, raw metal band, simplistic yet effective with inventively irreverent lyrics. With tighter, fascist structures developing concepts the band contributes an angry, abstracted feel to the music, possibly derived from its nihilistic hardcore compositional leanings.
