小河出生在河北邯郸，是家中的第三个儿子。1990年代末他开始崭露头角，当时他是实验乐队美好药店的成员。他每周还单独去北京的民谣酒吧“河”做个人演出。

最近这几年小河在超现实民谣传统中进行着深入探索，也常和朋友们一起参加实验性质的演出。

Brief introduction

Born in Handan, Hebei Province, Xiao He is the third son of his parent. In the late 1990s he  attracted considerable attention for the first time  with his experimental band. And then he started to perform by himself weekly at the River, a folk  bar in Beijing.

In recent years Xiao He explores deeply into the surreal folk traditions and do experimental solo performances collaborating with friends.
