Brief introduction

Forseti takes its name from the god of justice, peace and truth in Norse mythology who is considered the wisest and most eloquent of gods of Asgard. The one-man band Forseti presents gently melancholy German neofolk. Purely acoustic songs merge with evocative lyrics dealing with mythology, nature spirituality, and an intimate relationship with life to form an expressive and thoroughly unique piece of music. The German sounds excellent, the words are clearly articulated, and the same clarity is enjoyed by the instruments including acoustic guitar, flute, cello, accordion and percussion with which the songs are accompanied by Andreas and his friends.
