Brief introduction Gothica's music has an origin vaguely in the "depressed gothic", and carries an important middle-Italian tradition of exploring the darkest abysses of music culture. Their lyrics are poems written by Alessandra Santovito but there are also poems by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, etc. Alessandra's ethereal vocals soar and float above a dark neoclassical soundtrack created by keyboards, organic instruments. They have created a small, but great masterpiece of atmospheres out of this world. |
