Brief introduction The name of the band comes from the Nephilim who are biblical angels that have the task of bringing very important secrets to the human race. The group's cryptic, occult-inspired songs were sung in a guttural roar by vocalist Carl McCoy. Live appearances were shrouded with dim light and smoke machines, while bandmembers stalked the stage in black desperado gear inspired by western dress. They manage to maintain the Nephilim mystical atmosphere in a sometimes frightening and full of weirdness way. |
