DIE VERBANNTEN KINDER EVA'S  1995

The Serpent's Voice

There was once truth in what you spoke
But teased by doubt alone
I hear the serpent voice inside me
Sands of time will now dissolve

I cry for truth from where I stand
But growing lies my reply
I bought my ship of dreamy pictures
Through the seas of death

I sale but know not where I am
Sinking and no one around
The last sound that my body utters
Is a cry for truth

Darkened Skies

In your dark sky
You'll see what you always longed to see
Trying not to be there again
From all silence
To the crying voices of the earth
Trying to believe that you're glad

Lifted from the earth realm
You will find the place of joy
Carried by a pair (of) weary hands
Cloaked in silken dresses
But yet bodies still not warm
Laughing with a tear not a smile

Crossing cities
Ever crying children all around
Yet they do not seem discontent
Standing waiting
For the gates to open up your eyes
But you realise that you're blind

prisoned  you shall be
On lives quest
With no end in sight
Flying through the dark
Mist of ever threatening clouds
Substance robs me off
Robs me of my wings
On enchanting arms
On your so enchanting arms
Through the darkened skies
Carry me away
Try not to look back
In my darkened skies I am now

May No Tears Stain This Holy Ground

Darkened Northwind
Fade away from all mankind
To the darkness
In your heart you feel your dying
Fear the winter
And the cold in which your living
Always sadness
From your soul and in your world

Darkened northwind
Fade away from all mankind
To the darkness
In your heart and in your dying

Cry wherever you want
Crying wherever you want
No tears on that holly ground
No tears on that holly ground
Run from darkened world
Running from the darkened world
No aim you can reach for
No aim you will ever reach
Freeze on this frozen ground
Freeze on this frozen ground
A warmth nowhere in sight

Futile Belief

In the evening call for him
Waiting for the good life he may bring
It won't come to you
He doesn't hear for you

In your darkness beg for hope
Waiting for the good thins he may bring
They wont come to you
He doesn't hear for you

But you never will deny
All the things you've ever done before
You will not deny
He doesn't hear for you
