Brief introduction

The German gothic/darkwave group Diary Of Dreams began in the late '80s as the side-project of singer/songwriter Adrian Hates. They adjoin the soothing elements of new age, the dark vocals of Goth and sensual lyrics into a complete collation. Richly structured electronics avoid sounding sterile, and successfully induce a variety of moods appropriate to the music. Elements of piano trickle through pieces next to warm ambiences intermingled with chorals that induce the heart and mind to dizzy and swell. The depth and intensity of Adrian Hates' voice  leaves listeners around the world rapt by his hypnotic vocal power.
