Brief introduction

The beginning of the musical history of Butterfly Temple has been the self released album "Veles" in 1999. Strengthened by the folks from Moscow they set out to present us with their pretty own style of Pagan Metal, which takes up Death Metal, some Black Metal and also Folk and rounds off this highly interesting mix with very variable vocals. All of the nice and melodic and multi-layered guitar parts are here, and the sense of tragic and historical wonder is still there. The rawer Black Metal styled vocals on their albums are also great. These six musicians lay claim to the Russian Folk Metal throne.
