1978年Dirk在朋克乐队Slaughterhouse中担任主唱和吉他手，但很快他就退出了。1996年Dirk建立了Sonar，它已经成为最为人熟知和最受好评的节奏工业乐队之一。音乐的创作混合使用了模拟和数字设备。它是合成器音乐的迸发，沿着经典工业音乐的道路向前，并且拥有了更强大的力度。

Brief introduction

In 1978, Dirk started as singer and guitar player in the punk band Slaughterhouse but soon he gave up. In 1996, Dirk started Sonar and it has become one of the most well-known and appreciated rhythmic-industrial bands. The creation of the music is a combination of analogue and digital instruments. It is a synthesized outbursts which goes further on classic industrial with an extra dimension of powerful dynamics.
