1993年的夏天Da5id Din 和 Matthew Crofoot在波士顿组建了Informätik。Matthew进行声音的构思和采样，Da5id则更多地使用电脑对声音进行加工，也负责作词和加入人声。

他们的首张CD Direct Memory Access v2.0是一张原创的美国电子专辑，第二张专辑使用了更精致的声音，歌曲更亲切。后来的Nymphomatik则诗意地探索了舞池中人们扭动身体时的阴暗性欲望。

Brief introduction

Da5id Din and Matthew Crofoot formed Informatik in the summer of 1993 in Boston. Matt's really into sound design and sampling. Da5id is more into the computer aspects of it and processing of sounds, and doing the lyrics and vocals as well.

Their  debut CD Direct Memory Access v2.0 is an original American electro album. The second release features a much more refined sound and even more club friendly songwriting. Then Nymphomatik lyrically explored the dark side of sexuality while forcing bodies to move on the dance floor.
