“If you come with kindness and love, we will greet you with bread and salt.” The welcoming billboard beside the road expresses all the good-natured simplicity, naivety, and sincerity of the villagers. The leading role Ivan Sergeevich is among them. He is struggling to earn his living, meanwhile, a friendly but corrupted policeman offered him a lifeline.
Although many facts of Ivan’s life seem to be made out of papier-mâché he still holds his naïve trust into people and an innocent yearning for beauty.
“如果你带着善良和爱而来，我们就会用面包和盐迎接你。”路边的欢迎广告牌表达了村民们善意的单纯、天真和诚恳。主角Ivan Sergeevich也是其中之一。他正在努力谋生，与此同时，一个友好但腐败的警察给了他一个机会。
