Twin sisters on the Orient Express

The film tracks the progress of female identity through the accelerating mechanical age of the early 20th century.

In 1880 twins Dora and Lili are born in Budapest. At their teenage, they are forced to sell matches on the streets until both are adopted by two separate families. One day at the dawn of the 20th Century, they meet again on the Orient Express, one a hedonistic courtesan, the other a feminist anarchist.

电影追踪了二十世纪早期，突飞猛进的机械化时代背景下，女性身份的发展演进。

1880年双胞胎姐妹Dora和Lili出生在布达佩斯。十几岁时她们被迫上街卖火柴，直到后来被两个不同的家庭收养。在二十世纪初的某一天，她们同时出现在东方快车上，一个是奉行享乐主义的贵妇，一个是女性主义的无政府主义者。
