At the beginning of this unclassifiable film, a man, played by the director himself, sleeps on a bed with a dog. After waking up he steps through a magic door and onto the balcony of a movie theatre.
Meanwhile, Oscar leaves his home under extraordinary security, then travels by a white stretch limousine around Paris to a series of nine "appointments".
Oscar begins as a captain of industry. The next moment he becomes a gypsy crone. Inside a digital production facility, he's a sampling warrior. Next he's a psychopathic troglodyte who kidnaps a fashion model carrying her to his lair in the sewers. Then...From dawn to dusk, he changes his guises hourly. The limo becomes a make-up room.
Each of Oscar's identities inhabits a different movie genre, including monster movie, film noir, romantic drama, musical, gangster film, porn, fantasia.
The film offers a series of absurdist sketches with scarcely any discernible connection between them.
一部无法归类的电影。开头有个导演本人扮演的男人和他的狗在床上睡觉。醒来后他穿越一道神秘的门，来到一个电影院的阳台上。
与此同时，Oscar在特殊保护下出门，上了一辆白色加长豪车，逡巡在巴黎街头，奔赴九个系列“约会”。
Oscar最开始是个工厂领导。然后变成了吉普赛老太太。来到一个数码生产设施里，他又成了供采样的武士。后来他又以精神失常的穴居人模样出现，绑架了一个时装模特，把她扛回了自己在下水道里的窝......从早到晚，他频繁换装，轿车成了他的化妆室。
Oscar的每一个身份背后都代表着一种不同的电影类型，包括怪兽电影、黑色电影、浪漫剧、音乐剧、黑帮电影、情色电影、奇幻电影等。
电影呈现的是一系列荒诞的片段，它们互相之间的联系若有若无。
