Dancers from Pina Bausch’s
Tanztheater Wuppertal exchanged the stage to the screen in this film
which shot over 6 months.
The characters are all out of
place. A woman in an autumnal park fights with a roaring leaf
blower. Two old men in thick coats tramp heavily across the soft
earth of a field. Another woman in a bunny costume teeters
exhaustively through the furrows, stumbles and picks herself up
again strenuously. Two women in bathing costumes are freezing by the
side of the road ...
The film gets by entirely without
a plot and almost without words. It brings about a succession of
images of humanity's encounter with the forces of nature, the joy
and desolation of childhood, the turmoil of young love and the
crises of middle age. |
来自Pina
