Based on Georges Perec's 1967 novel, the film centers around the mental adventures of its mute protagonist. A young student decides to withdraw from the world and have no more interaction with it than is needed to minimally sustain life. He wanders the streets of Paris. His inner musings are confided to us by a girl's offscreen voice. |
