Fernandez is a lonely young man who works in a hardware store in a desolate provincial town. The kind employer promises him he will inherit the store when the former dies.

Each night on his way home Fernandez becomes transfixed by a gorgeous young woman lurking under the street light, then falls for her. Under the interference of her doting, manically overbearing mother, he finds himself indulging in guilty fantasies

The film is a bizarre and forlorn story with an unexpected ending.

孤独青年Fernandez在荒凉乡镇上的一个五金店工作。好心的店主许诺，在自己死后把五金店交给他继承。

每晚在回家路上，Fernandez都能看到一个美丽女子在路灯下默默站立，然后就爱上了她。而在她那个溺爱女儿又狂躁霸道的母亲干扰下，他发现自己进入罪恶幻想中。
