A long time ago, the war broke out where millions of people lived, and it gave each of them different sad stories and very pitiful sights. Some of the stories were so sad that people did not want to remember, and some of the sights were so bad that we couldn't open our eyes to see them.

In the summer of 1999,Seitaro Kuroda finished to make the "Collection of War Stories for Children" complete in 12 stories into a movie. All of them have something to do with 15 Aug, 1945.

许久以前，战争在成千上万人居住的地方爆发了，给他们带来了各种伤心故事和悲惨景象。有些故事那样悲伤，以致人们不愿意记起；有些景象那样凄惨，以致我们无法正视。

1999年的夏天，野坂昭如完成了将《战争童话集》的12个故事制作成电影的工作。所有故事都是多多少少和1945年8月15日相关的。
